Letting Go: A Heart-Centered Workshop for Doulas & Midwives

Doulas and midwives provide the compassionate care so deeply needed by pregnant and postpartum women. Continual caregiving comes with its own shadow, however, when we carry with us the intense emotions and challenging situations that can arise. Sometimes we need permission to let go.

Join Julia Aziz, LCSW in creating a heart-centered space for release and transformation of anything we are holding onto that is ready to be released. In this experiential workshop, silence will be held as we explore our internal worlds through journaling, meditation, movement, and personal sharing. Participants will experience the gift of quiet, non-judgmental reflection and leave with more tools to quiet the mind, connect with intuitive wisdom, and live from the heart.

Previous experience with silent retreats is not at all necessary, but due to the time-limited and vulnerable nature of the program, this workshop is not recommended for individuals currently coping with significant mental health issues or trauma.
